At lunch, a young married women came over to Seth and handed him a letter. In broken English she explained that her sister had attended Camp Koby last summer and that her whole family wanted to thank us. The letter from her grandmother reads in part:
"When my daughter told me that S. L. was going to a special sleep away camp for 10 days I was astonished. Camps are notoriously expensive and I know my daughter has a very limited budget. When she told me the premise behind the camps I was truly impressed. What a wonderful way to celebrate the life of a loved one.
My granddaughter grew and flourished as a result of attending Camp Koby. She learned independence, patience, problem solving skills, how to build social relationships and more. Thank you for your wonderful work."
